I have been failing miserably, lately, at staying on top of everything. I’m behind on laundry and vacuuming, I didn’t make it to the grocery store last weekend so we’ve been scrounging around in the freezer for leftovers, our plants from the greenhouse are only just now making it to the garden (late of course). I’m up to my eyeballs in work at my day job. I pride myself on being organized and timely, so this inability to keep the myriad balls in the air really stings.
It’s the crush of summer, everything happening at once. There are so many things I would love to be blogging about, but I’m so busy DOING the things that I haven’t had time to even think about writing.
But instead of giving up in frustration, I’m going to do one small thing and post my Thursday haiku – late.
Busy summer days!
Gather, plant, dig, sow, water –
Eat ice cream. Repeat.
